Funko POP Suicide Squad Action Figures. I just Googled Suicide Squad and these are the Top 3 news headline results: 1) "Suicide Squad would be better if it did not reek of desperation" (Ars Technica); 2) "'Suicide Squad' Tears up August Box Office Records" (Deadline); and 3) "The Critics Must Be Crazy: 'Suicide Squad' Is Wicked Fun" (Forbes). My interpretation: Suicide Squad was a mega-hyped film that then got crap reviews that then no one or their wallets listened to that then other critics started bootstrapping back up by focusing on what's good about it. Because we live a world that thrives on negativity and dissent and, when it comes down to it, superheroes. Even when the heroes are villains.
